10 weeks out – sprints enter the picture

This was a good week for the team. With only 70 days till we reach the stage, everyday becomes increasingly important. The weather is finally warm enough for us to get outside and start our cardio conditioning. The first few sprint sessions leave their marks on our calves & groins but the soreness should diminish with each sprint session – at least I hope it does – We will increase the frequency and intensity of these sessions each week until we reach the stage. Here’s a little video clip of our first sprint session:

The sprint session: 30 min

A1: 100 yard sprint 80 percent 10 sets

A2: 100 yard job 50 percent 10 sets

B1 15 min steady state jogging
